He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Loftus, Sr. and Helen Loftus (Groves); and his brother Richard G. Loftus. He is survived by: his children, Thomas J. Loftus, III of South Windsor and Deneen Janty (Stephen) of Niantic; his granddaughters, Kristen Nielsen and Megan Nielsen; his great grandchildren, Ellena Carrano and Lennox Carpenter; and his significant other Diane Hoctor. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Thom's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
