He is survived by: his wife Karen Kennedy (Scozzafava); his children, Michael Kennedy (Linda) of New York, NY, Patricia O'Connor (Kenneth) of Somers and Christopher Kennedy (Cynthia van Zelm) of Ellington; and his grandchildren, Christopher and Kathryn O'Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
