It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Shermer (Enfield, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 6, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Thornton Spring; her sister Elizabeth Marotto; and her nephew Richard Marotto. She is survived by: her spouse Walter Shermer; her parent Winifred Spring (Russell); and her children, Michael Shermer (Kelly), Kristen Shermer of Enfield and Paul Sciaretta of Chicopee, MA. She is also survived by friends and to playing Jeopardy on TV with her beloved daughter.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations in Winifred's memory be made to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
