It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leanora S. Schneider (Essex, Connecticut), who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Schoonmaker and Marian Schoonmaker of Rochester, NY; her brothers, Jeff, Greg and Renny; and her children, Sarah, Katie, Stephen and Lea.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (336 Main St, Old Saybrook, CT 06475). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Fountain Hill Cemetery (57 High St, Deep River, CT 06417).
Every day of this summer there were flowers on her table, but now that her eyes are closed one might choose to donate instead to another group dear to her heart.
