Bates (Fabyan, Connecticut), born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bates and Louise Bates (Paul); and her siblings, Virginia Swanson, Millicent Soderberg and Daniel Bates.
She is survived by: her significant other Kathryn O'Rourke; and her brother John Bates. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and their collective children and grandchildren.
