Marie Dolores Pezzella Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Dolores Pezzella of Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent J. Pezzella; her parents, Marco Sagnella and Elena Massotta Sagnella; her grandson Vincent Julian Pezzella; and her sisters, Julia Tomchik and Alfonzina Sagnella.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent Pezzella (Donna) and Carol Cardillo (Vincenzo); her grandchildren, Alyssa Pezzella (Joey Cherry), Jessica Treschitta (Russell) and Vincenzo Cardillo Jr. (Destiny Arellano); her great grandchildren, Bria, Gianna and Olivia; and her sisters, Lucy Lombardi (Charles) and Josephine Matera. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Rd, Fairfield, CT 06825). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
