It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Zoe Michael of Fairfield, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 95, on August 10, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Poda and Olympia Nicolla Poda; and her siblings, Louis, Nicholas, Legor, Dr. George Poda, Vasilka Duro, Beatrice Tallcouch and Proxithea Koleci.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Masek (Al) of Milford, Christine Kruczek (John) of New Hartford and Mark Michael (Beth) of Orange; her grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle Masek, Kevin, Jason Kruczek, Deanna Schwarz, Christopher Michael and Michael Moccia; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton, Emily, Sophie Masek, Samara, Meadow Kruczek, Zoey Schwarz and Mila Moccia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. George Albanian Orthodox Church (5490 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 6:45 PM and on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (1530 Bronson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
