Margaret Kennedy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Kennedy in Farmington, Connecticut, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Kennedy; her parents, J. Stanley Smith and Sarah Morrison Smith; and her brother Ian Douglas Smith. She is survived by: her children, Diane E. Kennedy of Avon, Joyce Kennedy (David) of Boulder, CO and Douglas J. Kennedy (Linda) of Thetford Center, VT; her grandchildren, Lindsay Kennedy (Justin), Elena Kennedy (Brad), Connor, Cameron and Brianna Raymes; her great grandchildren, Oliver and Finn Michalchuk; and her sibling's children, Deborah Rosenfeld, Daryl, Dean and David Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Church of Christ (689 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Church of Christ, UCC, or Heifer International.
