It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Messenger (Granby, Connecticut), born in Windham, Connecticut, who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her wife Wilbur Arthur Messenger; her parent George H.; her siblings, Harvey Buckland, Oliver Buckland, Olive Wyman and Elinor Rose; and her son-in-law Lawrence Murray.

She is survived by : her parent Cornelia Buckland (Eddy); her children, Donald W. Messenger (Gail) of Ocala, FL, Lola J. Murray of Granby and Shirley A. Isaacson (David) of Granby; her grandsons, Steven J. Isaacson of Granby and Brian W. Isaacson (Erin) of Huntington, MA; and her sister Ruth Gilhooly (David) of Canaan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
