It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley S. Young of Granby, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 2, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth M. Seymour, Sr. and Maida (Griffin). She is survived by : her husband Roger Young; her children, Janice Young Castle (Donald) of Willington, Dale Young (Torrie) of East Granby and Scott Young (Kathryn) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Jenna Castle Hoyt (Thomas), Brittany Castle Kowalyshyn (Jacob), Christopher Lowe (Amanda), Jeremy, Andrew and Rebecca Young; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Riley Hoyt, Grace Kowalyshyn, Alliyah and Cody Lowe.

Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs, wear masks and maintain social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley's memory to the First Congregational Church of Granby Barbara Crouse Music Fund at the address listed above.
