She was predeceased by : her children, Suzanne Bernice and Thomas Vernon; her parents, Vernon Palen and Bernice Palen (Roy); her sisters, Patricia Waddill and Mary Lindgren; her siblings-in-law, George Waddill and Jean Palen; and her nephew Bobby Lindgren.
She is survived by : her children, Tom and Jesus; her husbands, Tom and Thomas P. Scanlon; her children, Katherine Rawden (Lou) of Darien, CT, Jeanne Anderson (John) of Cheshire, CT and Christopher Scanlon (Glynnis) of Milford, CT; her grandchildren, Thomas A. Scanlon, Katie Suzie, Louie Rawden, Zoe Anderson, Jack Anderson, Sara Scanlon and Matthew Scanlon; her brothers, Stephen Palen and Michael Palen; and her brother-in-law Robert Lindgren. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
