With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Parker of Groton, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on July 7, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Mildred L. Parker; and his brothers, Robert D. Parker Jr. and Alan D. Parker. He is survived by : his children, Juwana Parker of New London, Racina Massey (Thomas) of New London and Richard L. Parker Jr. of Groton; his siblings, Donna Ford Jacobs of Carson, CA, Craig Parker (Melissa) of New London and Wayne Parker of Waterford; his granddaughter Madison Meekins; and his close friend Violet Bort. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
