“Hilary and Simon Carrington are very sad to read of dear Joan's passing. We bought their house on Dolan Drive in 2003 and they became wonderful friends to us thereafter and were always very kind and hospitable. We have always regretted not having kept in touch with Joan more regularly albeit from far away as we now divide our time between France and England. We will certainly make a donation to the library in Joan's memory and send our heartfelt condolences to her family.”
