With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael G. Zito Jr. of Guilford, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Zito and Rose Zito (Giannelli); and his brother Stephen Zito. He is survived by: his sister Judith C. Welch (Peter) of Watertown; his sister-in-law Jane Zito of Guilford; his nieces and nephews, Christi Carlson (Aaron), David Welch (Shannon), Kimberly Barnard (Joseph), Jeffrey Welch, Stephen Michael Zito (Katherine) and Stephanie Zito (Brian); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava, Lyla, Cody Carlson, McKinley, Myles Barnard, Maya Welch and Sophia Zito.
