With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Angelo Blase Nista (Hamden, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nista and Malfalda Nista (Vastola); and his significant other Alexine. He is survived by: his daughter Angela (Kevin McNabola); his grandchildren, Caroline and John McNabola; his siblings, Ralph Nista (Carol) of New Haven and Michaelina Panaroni (John) of West Haven; his siblings-in-law, Tony Vollano (Carol) and Joellen Nellums (Fred); and his pets, Ash and Mac. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Ann's Soup Kitchen, 930 Dixwell Ave, Hamden, CT 06514, just one of the many, many organizations Angelo supported.
