She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard R. Jaynes and Mildred Jaynes (Griffin); and her sister Diane Ledbetter (Jaynes). She is survived by: her children, Kara Hunt of Hamden, Cecelia Jaynes of Hamden, Sherry Ledbetter Harris of Hamden, Christopher Hunt of New Haven, Monique Ledbetter of New Haven and Rodney Jaynes of New Haven; and her siblings, Ruth Jaynes of New Haven and Harold E. Jaynes, Sr. of Hamden. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
