It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine M. O'Connor (Hamden, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Adolph Colombell; her husband Ralph; and her daughter-in-law Alicia O'Connor. She is survived by: her parent Elizabeth Colombell (Wrynn); her children, Brian O'Connor (Theresa) of Hamden, Mary Powers (Bill) of Prospect, Michael O, Connor of North Haven and Ann O'Connor of Cheshire; her grandchildren, John, Patrick, Joseph, Eamon, Colin, Brock, Eliza O'Connor, Owen Powers, Adam, James and Jake Ali; and her siblings, Ann Colombell, William and Tom Colombell. She is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Smilow Cancer Center.
