It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Freeman of Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Clarence Eugene Freeman; her sisters, Helen Bosley, Marjorie Burns and Frances Wilson; and her sister-in-law Beverly Eldridge.
She is survived by : her children, Gerene Freeman, Patricia Owens and Clarence Eugene Freeman, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Owens, Mindy Marks (Bryan), Clarence Eugene Freeman, III and Leesa Freeman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was employed with the City of New Haven (Redevelopment Agency), worked at James Hillhouse High School, and then the APT Foundation as a Counselor for 'The Mother's Project' until her retirement in the mid-90s.
