She is survived by: her children, Valerie Burroughs, Robin Burroughs of Hamden, CT and Felton Hood Jr. (Carol) of Mint Hill, NC; her granddaughter Mecca Alston of Hamden, CT; and her siblings, Louise Hoff of Newport News, VA, Inez Barrett-Williams of Hamden, CT, Virginia Long of New Haven, CT, Albert Henderson (Viola) of New Haven, CT, Louis Henderson (Alva) and William Henderson of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
