With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis D. Lyons Jr. of Hamden, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lyons and Esther Cannavan Lyons; and his sister Jeanne Lyons Gardiner. He is survived by: his wife Anne Connelly Lyons; his son Francis David Lyons III (Tara Stevenson Lyons); his grandchildren, Francis David Lyons IV and Emma Margaret Lyons; his sister Sheila Lyons Donahue; his sister-in-law Katherine Connelly; and his nieces and nephews, Karen, Susan, John, Tom, Mary and Rita.
