He was predeceased by: his wife Ina Pearl (Williamson); and his siblings, Luvenia Aiken, Ethel Lee Byrd, Ben Carr Jr. and Melvin Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne McCrae (Zemanda) of New Haven, Frank "Tank" Carr Jr. (Catherine Sharpe) and Jason Carr (Tonia); his stepdaughter Lamonica Mitchell (Ralph); and his siblings, Danise McNeil (William) of Hamden and Geneva Carr-Walters of Hamden. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
