He is survived by: his wife Dr. Christa Sammons; his children, Rebecca Serabrini of Seattle, Charles Sammons, Harold Sammons (Selene Chen) of San Francisco and Dr. Benjamin Sammons (Anna Pervukhin) of Eugene, OR; and his grandchildren, Isaac, David, Lydia and Clara.
