It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D. McKnight of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coady McKnight and Julia Mae Moore McKnight; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" McKnight, Daisy Mae Pearson, Margaret Woods, Betty Lou Epps and Lillie Ann McKnight.
He is survived by: his wife Isabelle McKnight; his children, David McKnight (Madora), Sylvia Warren (Jeffery), Willie McKnight, Tyrone McKnight and Shakina McKnight; and his sister Marie McKnight. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild.
