With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Abbott (Hamden, Connecticut), born in Redlands, California, who passed away on June 11, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harlan Abbott and Elizabeth Nichols Abbott; and his sister Nancy Abbott Diem. He is survived by: his children, Tim (Diane) of Wilmington and Melanie of Branford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Avenue, Meriden, CT, 06451.
