Though June may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred C. Pierce and Mattie Pierce (Powell); and her sister Joyce Pierce Wright. She is survived by: her niece Michelle Wright; and her pet Oliver.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hamden Plains Cemetery.
In 1995, she received the Outstanding CPR Instructor Award from the American Heart Association (Connecticut Affiliate).
