We bid farewell to Luz Delia Adorno of Hamden, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Luz Delia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabel Cruz Torres and Regula Díaz; and her siblings, Balbina "Lucila" Cruz and Otilio Cruz. She is survived by: her husband David Adorno; her children, Milagro Adorno (José Pabón) of Hamden, Ivelisse Adorno of New Haven, Pedro Ortíz and Gabriel Ortíz of Hamden; and her siblings, Marcelina "Milda" Cruz Díaz, Maximina "Maxi" Cruz, Agustina Cruz, Maria Eugenia "Genita" Cruz, Margarita "Mago" Cruz, Rosaura "Rosa" Cruz, Ana Ivia "Ani" Cruz, Moises "Man" Cruz, Isabelino "Belo" Cruz and Emiliano Cruz. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Iglesia Pentecostal (2105 State St, Hamden, CT 06517). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
