He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenza Scalo and Luigi Scalo; and his siblings, Dr. Luigi Scalo, Marie Mialback and Palma Dzierlatka.

He is survived by: his brother Vincent J. Scalo; and his close friends, Bertha Elizabeth and Maybank. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
