He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ulla Schultheiss (Heimann); his parents, Karl Schultheiss and Alice Schultheiss (Trier); his children, Thomas of Haifa, Israel, Katrin (Eric Arnesen) of Bethesda, Maryland, Andrew (Katherine Schwartz) of Boulder, Colorado and Susan (Bob Gribbon) of Hamden, Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Rachel, Samuel, William, James, Mia, Daniel and Gavriela.
