We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2018, at the age of 100, Rose Evans (Hamden, Connecticut), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Lorenzo Evans, Sr.; her son Lorenzo Evans, Jr.; her granddaughter Jill Simmons-Ray; and her sons-in-law, Simmons Williams and Nathan Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Simmons, Annette Evans (James) and Louis Evans; and her daughter-in-law Katherine Evans. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
