She was predeceased by: her spouse Benjamin M. Matarese; her parents, Ernesto Conte and Michelina Verdasco Conte; and her siblings, Marguerite Schuster, Christine York, Rae Bartozzi, James Conte and Alphonse Conte.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Matarese of Greenville, NC and Benjamin Matarese, Jr. (Karla Perri) of Arlington, VA.; and her grandchildren, Emilie and Brendan Matarese.
