She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Thigpen and Flossie Carmon; her husband Jimmy L. Moore; her son Jeffery A. Moore; and her siblings, Edgar, Matthew, Amos Jr., Preston, James, Willie Isaac Thigpen, Lucy Cox, Mattie Sims, Ida Atkinson and Ethel Joyner.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Bartlett of Hamden, Linda Moore of Hamden, Sheila Gary (Billy) of New Haven, Michael Moore (Sharlene) of Wallingford, Annette Ford (Gilbert) of White Plains, MD and Vincent Moore (Rhonda) of Hamden. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
