Owens of Brooklyn; her grandsons, Elijah (Earlham College) and Sampson (New England College); her nieces, Patricia Taylor, Laurie Russell of Princeton, Sheila Epps and Alice Jennings of Hamden; and her nephew Whitney Epps of Hamden. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
