Alexander H. Kounaris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 92, Alexander H. Kounaris (Hartford, Connecticut), born in New Britain, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his wife Effie Kounaris (Lane). He is survived by : his daughters, Cynthia Kounaris of Ft. Lauderdale, Adrian East of New York City, Allyson Kounaris of Newington and Janice Cox of Southington; his girlfriend Trudy Stamos; his son-in-law Fred Cox; his cousins, Ike and Chris Kounaris; his nieces, Judy McVeigh and Eva Poulos; his nephew Bill Poulos; and his grandsons, Bryan and Kevin Cox. He is also survived by his wife of 55 years and later, with his longtime girlfriend, as well as with his daughters and friends.
Since he would have probably wanted a big send-off—a HUGE memorial service will be held post COVID19, followed by a military burial.
