He is survived by: his children, Leanore McBride, Ashley Mearise, Asia Manson and Antwan Gaston; his siblings, Morgan Parker (Diane), James Mearise (Portia) of East Hartford, Willie Mearise (Felicia) of Norfolk, Virginia, Rose Gilmore, Shevena Goodman of Norfolk, Tracey Williams and Cidney Bartley (Alrick) of East Hartford; and his close friend Billyee Porter. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
