He is survived by: his children, DaVita Cann (Anthony) of Hamilton, Gerald Lewis Cooper (Jennifer) of Manhattan, NY and Sterling Scanlon of Hartford; his grandchildren, Mila, Raya and Hannah Cooper; his siblings, Alton T. Latney (Irma) of East Hartford, Lynn M. Johnson (Theodore) of Bloomfield and Courtney R. Collins of Manchester; his nieces and nephews, Devin Sanford (Devon), Andre T., Anthony Latney, William T. West II (BJ), Ashon Austin, Brandon Constance, Lau'ren D. Latney, Sarita J. Collins, Chaniel L. Latney, Denisha Austin, Sharraine Vasquez and Nikki Constance; his goddaughters, Michelle Moore, Arianna and Ava Acevedo; and his friends, Lawrence Bailey (Sonny) and Max Eady. He is also survived by great -nephews, six (6) great-nieces, five (5) great great-nephews, one (1) great great-niece.
