She was predeceased by : her parents, Lenworth Carnegie and Jimmie Mae Carnegie; her husband Jay Boykin; and her brothers, Lenworth "Butch" Carnegie, Wayne Carnegie and James "Mitchell" Templeton.

She is survived by : her children, Scott Martin (Dana), Faith Martin and Jeffrey Brunson; her grandsons, Eric Martin, Evan Martin and Virgil Boykin; and her siblings, Brian and Laurie Carnegie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
