She was predeceased by : her spouse Waldemar P. Szczesniak; her parents, George Brown and Flora Brown (Richards); and her siblings, John Brown, George Brown and Betty Bertine.
She is survived by : her children, John Szczesniak (Cindi) of Troy, NY, Bruce Szczesniak (Laura) of Harwinton, CT, Diana Scalzi (Fred) of Naugatuck, CT and Susan Alender (Ken) of Harwinton, CT; her grandchildren, Lindy Brady, Rebecca Scalzi, Sarah Alender, Anthony Scalzi, Camber Szczesniak, Kathleen Szczesniak and Isabel Szczesniak; her sister Martha Weik of Canton, CT; her sister-in-law Lillian Grimmer; and also Salifu Mohammed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
