It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amber Zappia of Harwinton, Connecticut, born in Torrington, Connecticut, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her aunt Wendy Sedgwick; and her uncle Daniel Potter. She is survived by: her husband Samuel E. Zappia of Harwinton; her son Carter Zappia; her parents, Giles "Bud" Potter, III and Sally Potter (Bartram) of Winchester Center; her brother Eric Potter (Violet); her nieces and nephews, Reef Potter and Corbin Bryan; and her parents-in-law, Eileen Moriaty (Dennis) of Harwinton and Joseph Zappia (Sylvia Dailey) of Winsted. She is also survived by grandparents; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the CT Brain Tumor Alliance in Avon CT.
