Dorothy left this world on October 5, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Brehant and Ethel Brehant (Rogers); and her siblings, Barbara Burks, Bertha Fontaine and Fred Brehant.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Joseph Taggart; her son Dan; her family, Daniel E. Taggart (Beverly) of Lebanon and Andrew R. Taggart (Katherine Cipriano Taggart) of Wolcott; her great grandchildren, Kyla Scott, Fiona and Alana Taggart; her sister Winifred Chase of Willimantic; Daniel E. Taggart Jr. (Renee Scott Taggart) of Amston.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Gilead Congregational Church (672 Gilead St, Hebron, CT 06248). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (30 Church St, Hebron, CT 06248).
