He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Taylor and Clara Winkler Taylor; and his siblings, Richard Taylor, Bill Taylor and Marsha Taylor Vorra.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley P. Taylor of Ledyard; his brothers, Lionel Taylor of Groton and George Taylor of Preston; and his children, Brian Taylor (Johnna) of Stonington, Jeffrey Taylor of Ledyard, Donna Kometas (Athas) of Wilbur and Susan Singleton (David) of Noank. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a myriad of nieces and nephews; and other close friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Ledyard Regional VNA.
