He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Mae Soden; and his son Randall William Soden. He is survived by: his son James Orr Soden II; his daughter-in-law Patricia Babcock; his daughter Bonnie Perrotti (Philip Perrotti); his siblings, Barbara Lostocco, William Soden (Jeannie Soden) and Kenneth Soden (Barbara Soden); his granddaughters, Amy Armstrong (Tim Armstrong) and Christina Pratt (Raye Mutcherson); and his great grandchildren, Brianna Armstrong and Jacob Armstrong.
