With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Mason of Litchfield, Connecticut, born in Bronxville, New York, who passed away on March 15, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leland Slaight Hanson and Leila Morange Hanson; her husband Frederick T. Mason III; her granddaughter Sheena Lee Musial; her great grandchild Emrie Leigh Mason; her brother Leland Hanson (Bud); and her children, Cheryl L. Mason, Richard Mason Sr. (Dick) and Dorinda Sparks (Rindy). She was also cherished by six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two beloved cats, and many wonderful friends.
