She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbur Koser and Josephine Koser (Samok); her siblings, Deborah Sullivan and John Koser; and her granddaughter Amelia Vincenzi.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald J. Filippini, Sr.; her sister Suzanne Casadei; her children, Pam Cilfone (Jay), Joe Filippini (AnneMarie), Tom Filippini (Laurie) and Lisa Vincenzi (David); her grandchildren, Melanie Binder (Kyle), Christopher Cilfone, Theresa Ditizio (Joe), Joe Filippini, Kai Wilkinson (Ben), Tommy Filippini, David Vincenzi (Melanie) and Marissa Gross (Jake); and her great grandchildren, Nora, Evelynn, Genevieve Binder and Maeve.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Litchfield Ambulance Association or the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 555 Long Warf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.

“Lisa and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was very kind. Always a smile on her face at work. My biggest memory is her ‘Show and Tell’ program that she so enjoyed doing for the residents in rec. She always had a crowd. I truly am sorry for your loss. Joanna was a wonderful person. I’m happy that I had a chance to meet her in my lifetime. Love Arleen”
