With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilla Ives (Litchfield, Connecticut), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 25, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilla Ives to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Donald M. Halsted and Barbara Harris Halsted; her husband Edward Lee Ives, Jr.; her sons, Edward Halsted Ives, Jeffrey (Dolores) and Chris (Mishy Lesser) of Watertown, MA; her daughter-in-law Karen Ives of Torrington, CT; her grandchildren, Melissa Ives, Paul Gill of Northfield, CT, Joshua Ives of Winsted, CT, Brett Ives, Jay Harlow of Brooklyn, NY, Ryan Ives and Shawna Pochan of Durham, NC; and her great grandchildren, Paul E. Gill, Sam Gill and Arthur Pochan Ives. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to covid-19, the graveside funeral will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do a random act of kindness for someone in need.
