He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Derwin and Ruth Derwin; his son Andrew Derwin; his stepsons, Jonathan Wilson (Diane) and Michael Wilson (Sara); and his grandchildren, Josh, Myles, Ayla, Sammy, Henry and Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Derwin; his brother Arnold Derwin (Ileane); and his sons, Jim Derwin and Will Derwin (Jolie).
