It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leighton Carlson of Madison, Connecticut, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leighton R. Carlson and Helen Carlson (Milewski); and his sister-in-law Diane Stanford (Dale). He is survived by : his close friend Duane E. Mellor, Jr.; his brother Dennis Carlson (Pamela) of Wayne, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Short (Wallace) of San Antonio and Trish Pedersen (Peter) of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
