We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 61, Marietta Chandler-Wood of Manchester, Connecticut, born in Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Chandler and Cora Chandler (Lindsey); her husband Edward Wood; her brother Rodger A. Chandler; and her grandparents, Issac and Laural Lindsey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Altrine Lombard Chandler, Rebecca Jackson, Roger Jackson and Carlton Chandler; and her nieces, Kiyon Chandler, Cashaun Burke, Kaylee Lombard, Kera Chandler, Tera Chandler, Breana Fee, Christian Chandler and Lavosha Chandler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
