He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Diane Crandall; his children, Porsia Spells, Gaiter Kenyatui Spells, Douglas Spells, Jr., Christopher Spells, Taajma Spells and Cinthia Spells; his siblings, Bennie Murphy, Julius Murphy, Schnesks Murphy, Joann Mullins, Gregory Worsley, Ben Worsley, Jr., Doris Reese, Devora Stokes and John Worsley; and his aunt Judy Depree Spell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
