It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Spells (Meriden, Connecticut), who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Lee Spell and Benjamin Worsley; and his brother Ronald Murphy. He is survived by: his girlfriend Susan Diane Crandall; his children, Porsia Spells, Gaiter Kenyatui Spells, Douglas Spells, Jr., Christopher Spells, Taajma Spells and Cinthia Spells; his siblings, Bennie Murphy, Julius Murphy, Schnesks Murphy, Joann Mullins, Gregory Worsley, Ben Worsley, Jr., Doris Reese, Devora Stokes and John Worsley; and his aunt Judy Depree Spell. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
