It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Acevedo of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavio Cruz-Pagan and Carmen Cruz-Pagan. She is survived by: her children, Janet Acevedo, Elizabeth Acevedo-Torres (William) and Jorge Acevedo, Jr. (Carmen); her grandchildren, Adriana Acevedo and Ashley Rodriguez; and her husband Jorge Acevedo. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters, and 16 more grandchildren.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 5:00 p. m. Masks and social distancing practices will be observed.
